Re-Authoring, But Include Subtitles?

I've got a DVD where the sound track is Spanish only. (FWIW,
Guillermo del Toro's "Pan's Labyrinth").

It's prefaced with an ungodly number of advertisements/trailers
and I want to re-author it so just the movie can be watched - but
with subtitles.

Is this even possible?

I'm using CloneDVD2 to do the rip, but nothing jumps out at me
vis-a-vis subtitles.

CloneDVD2 is unlikely to be able to do this.

There are tutorials out on the web.

If you want step by step instruction or to know what Windows software to
use, I highly recommend you visit:

Check out DvdRemake Pro or PGCEdit. They both allow
to reauthor a DVD.
